What it detects

This rule detects execution of the temporary shell scripts dropped by the Shai-Hulud npm supply chain worm which stage credential harvesting GitHub repository migration and malicious Actions workflow deployment on compromised developer and CI hosts. These specific script paths are created during the postinstall phase to propagate the worm and exfiltrate secrets so their execution is a strong compromise signal.
