What it detects

This rule detects msiexec.exe installing an MSI package fetched directly from Azure Blob Storage, the SynkLoader delivery behavior in which 331.msi was retrieved from a filereserve blob URL to stage a hidden PowerShell and Python loader. Adversaries abuse msiexec as a trusted installer to pull and execute remote packages while bypassing download controls, making early detection critical for catching the intrusion at the delivery stage.
