What it detects

This rule detects requests to the Spring Boot Actuator heapdump and gateway endpoints which attackers use to dump application memory containing AWS keys and credentials or to register arbitrary routes for server-side request forgery. Access to these sensitive management endpoints from untrusted sources indicates reconnaissance or active exploitation of an exposed Actuator.
