What it detects

This rule flags CloudTrail events from AWS Config where an attacker or operator disables configuration tracking by deleting the delivery channel and/or stopping the configuration recorder. Disabling these controls can reduce visibility into configuration changes, helping conceal subsequent malicious activity. It relies on CloudTrail event telemetry for eventSource config.amazonaws.com and eventName DeleteDeliveryChannel and StopConfigurationRecorder.
