What it detects

This rule identifies CloudTrail events in which AWS Security Hub findings or insights are modified, including BatchUpdateFindings, UpdateFindings, UpdateInsight, DeleteInsight, and related actions. Attackers may use these operations to impair incident response by changing or removing security findings. The detection relies on CloudTrail telemetry recording Security Hub API calls with eventSource set to securityhub.amazonaws.com and the specified eventName values.
