What it detects

This rule flags sign-in events where the reporting device is marked as non-compliant. Attackers can use unapproved or policy-violating devices to attempt initial access or to persist while avoiding trusted posture requirements. It relies on Azure sign-in log telemetry, specifically the device compliance indicator in the sign-in record.
