What it detects

This rule detects PowerShell executing an update.ps1 script located under the WindowsApps directory, the delivery behavior of the MSIX-packaged IDAT loader variant that runs a malicious script from within an installed app package. Adversaries leverage a signed MSIX container and a legitimate script wrapper to launch their loader from a trusted install path, making early detection critical for catching the intrusion before the next-stage payload is downloaded.
