What it detects
This rule flags successful sign-ins to your sanctioned Microsoft apps when Microsoft Cloud App Security reports the source IP as risky. Attackers often use anomalous or higher-risk network origins to blend in or route around access controls, so monitoring these events helps identify suspicious access patterns. It relies on threat management telemetry from the SecurityComplianceCenter reporting the specific event name and successful status.
