What it detects

This rule detects the download, permission change, and cleanup chain used by Mirai and Gafgyt IoT botnets, where a payload is fetched with wget, made executable with chmod, and traces are removed with rm. This loader pattern deploys DDoS bot binaries onto exploited devices while cleaning up dropped files.
