What it detects

This rule flags OpenCanary events where the HTTPPROXY service records an attempt to proxy another page. Attackers may use HTTP proxying to route or mask follow-on activity, so unexpected proxy login attempts can indicate probing or misuse of the service. It relies on OpenCanary application telemetry where the event type matches logtype 7001.
