What it detects

This rule detects reconnaissance of AWS IAM identity and user policies through GetCallerIdentity, ListUserPolicies and GetUserPolicy issued from a Boto3 SDK user agent. It reflects early-stage cloud discovery seen after credential compromise where an attacker maps their own permissions. Detecting it can surface scripted enumeration preceding privilege escalation.
