What it detects

This rule detects a mount command creating an OverlayFS with a writable upperdir and workdir, the filesystem layout the GameOverlay Ubuntu exploit builds to trigger the vulnerable capability copy-up in the kernel. Manual OverlayFS mounts of this shape by unprivileged users are a hallmark of the exploit sequence and warrant investigation.
