What it detects

This rule identifies installation of the RemCom Windows service (RemComSvc) via the Service Control Manager, matching Event ID 7045 and the service configuration. Service installation can be used by attackers to establish persistent execution under the Windows service framework. Detection relies on Windows system telemetry for Service Control Manager service creation events, including service name and the configured executable path.
