What it detects

This rule flags Windows service creation events (Event ID 7045) where the Service Control Manager reports specific service names. Attackers commonly use newly installed services to establish persistence and run code with elevated privileges. The detection relies on Windows system telemetry from the Service Control Manager, matching the Provider name and the created ServiceName values.
